TREE HOUSE CAFÉ MENU
Tree House's breakfast and lunch menu changes with the seasonal availability of local produce. Many of our baked items and entrees remain constant, but the particular ingredients that we use are selected from the daily harvest of local growers.
Our breakfast fritattas, cereals, and warm dishes change regularly, and the quiches, savory tarts, salads, and sandwiches that we offer at lunchtime represent the best of what New Mexico's organic farms have to offer. Some recent items include:
- Soba Noodles with peanut-coconut sauce, pea shoots, bok choy, sugarsnap peas, and fresh basil
- Quinoa Salad with lemon vinaigrette, Sweetwoods fresh feta, mint, and orange segments
- Balsamic Roasted Oyster Mushroom Sandwich with sweet pepper pesto and fresh goat cheese
- Pizza Rustica with sun dried tomato sauce, lion's mane mushrooms, green chile, and goat cheese
- Cold Cantaloupe Soup with yogurt and fresh mint
- Strawberry Cake with fresh strawberries and whipped vanilla cream
- Apple and Tart cherry Pie with Tara's organic ice cream
This sample menu (in pdf format) is what we were serving October 8, 2007. Today's menu will be similar, with a focus on baked goods and savory items made with local produce, but the specifics may be different.
We always have a range of pastries and baked goods available for purchase or to enjoy in our café alongside a hot cup of organic coffee, espresso, or tea. We also have bottled beverages, water, and fresh squeezed juice.
